Can we limit support to https://devguide.python.org/#status-of-python-branches
and drop support for https://devguide.python.org/devcycle/#end-of-life-branches ?

Not that I have any clout around here, but I definitely agree FWIW.

Given that Python 2 died 1,103 days ago on 1/1/2020 and there are almost no Py2 downloads, let's drop legacy Python.
