When opening Ghostty from a script or icon, it doesn't allow changing the input method

Issue Description

When opening Ghostty from a script or desktop, toolbar or launcher icon it doesn't allow changing or writing with other input methods other than ASCII.

Expected Behavior

The input method changes and it allows typing characters in other languages

Actual Behavior

It does not allow typing and it doesn't allow changing in other languages

Reproduction Steps

1. Open Ghostty from a desktop icon
2. Change input method
3. Write foreign characters if it changed the input method

Not necessarily. Dead keys cannot be typed, but Korean characters for example cannot be typed, or the "ñ" character in Spanish which is not a dead key. That said I just realized it happens on more than 1 application and it varies. It just stopped working on the browser until I switched to an application that allowed changing input methods.

Noting this is on Linux. Important because input methods in Linux in general are a complete disaster lol.
