Glyph render with extra “gap” no matter which NF you try

Issue Description

Some glyphs appear horizontally off-center (extra gap on the left) across several NF families.
The same glyphs look centered in other terminals (e.g., WebStorm’s built-in terminal). Plain Unicode equivalents render fine in Ghostty

Expected Behavior

glyphs should appear visually centered in their cell (no extra left side-bearing), consistent with how they render in other terminals

Actual Behavior

In Ghostty, some glyphs appear as left-shifted inside the cell

This occurs regardless of which Nerd Font provides the glyph:
ghostty +show-face --cp=0xF0E7 can report JetBrainsMono Nerd Font Mono, FiraCode Nerd Font Mono, or Symbols Nerd Font depending on config, but the gap persists.

• Vertical tweaks such as adjust-cell-widtht / adjust-cell-height or adjust-icon-height don’t change the horizontal gap.
• Switching grapheme-width-method does not help.

In WebStorm’s terminal the same glyphs appear centered
