It would be handy to have a simpler alt-mode for Cursor Keys maybe called Joystick Mode where:-
Middle circle single tap= triggers enter, (use tap on not tap off for faster response, so no gestures) instead of help
Middle circle hold + Middle circle double tap = just regular key presses like other cursor keys
Cursor Up+Down hold = Escape (wouldn't hold both at same time in actual usage)
Cursor Left+Right hold = Space
Cursor Up+Down+Left+Right hold = Tab

This could then be used as a controller for navigating and playing arcade emulators on Retorarch.
Note I already have a back button on Samsung Watch 4, so don't need an exit button via Middle circle hold.
The reason I raise this is it's the first thing I tried. LaunchBox on Android, into mame game, worked but double tap for fire not ideal. I could forsee this being of use to someone running NReal air glasses via phone kept in pocket and using watch to play.

Great app BTW, loads of potential, especially if customisable profiles could be created where all potential key triggers of the Joystick could be user assigned + 8 way being an option per profile too. Might need 2 watches and crossed palms to play Robotron though!
