Not able to login

Hi,
I haven't been able to sign in to gitconnected.com lately. After clicking "Sign in" on the main page I'm getting the following JSON response from the https://gitconnected.com/api/auth/github/callback?code=...&state=... endpoint:

{"message": "Authentication failed", "statusCode": 500}

This JSON response is what shows up on the page. When I later click "Sign in", I'm presented with the same page without going through the authentication process. I've already tried logging in and out from GitHub, as well as using a private browser window and a different browser, and it didn't work.

Sorry for the slow reply, this project is a labor of love, and I'm trying to put time into squashing bugs after a major refactor to modernize the stack.

@treyhuffine thanks! I do not receive the error anymore but now it seems like I’m stuck in a loop, when I click sign in it just reloads the homepage for me and I am still not signed in.

I will try on Chrome later and report back though, based on other issues it seems Chrome handles sign ins best for this website.

@srakhe thanks for the quick check. It's an issue with ASCII versus Unicode. I made another update, and I think it's fixed now. If you can check.

It's working on my end as well, thanks @treyhuffine!

I'm getting a 404 error when clicking "View resume" though. 🤔
