detection -> Install ripgrep not completing

Today our actions started hanging on the "detection -> Install ripgrep" step.

and it's still running...

Issue #53938 also just used the ripgrep installation step process as an example of something that recently had a transient issue.

I wonder if this step can have some timeout/retry handling applied? This hang is causing future runs of this workflow to be queued up.

If anyone else is running into this, and because the default timeout is 6 hours, you might be forced to "force cancel" the run, as the cancel request in the UI gets queued to be checked between steps.

Claude told me that this should be fixed in the v0.87.1 pre-release. Tried to update and haven't experienced it since.
