The only way to toggle test coverage is using the command palette.

To add button in the Tests tab to toggle coverage.

As with your other issue, are you using the legacy testing system, vscode-go's test explorer, or Go Companion's test explorer? If it's the latter - Go Companion - you likely need to make an upstream request on the vscode project.

What do you mean "toggle test coverage"? Are you asking for a toggle to control whether coverage is captured when a test is executed? Or whether coverage annotations are shown in the editor? Or something else?

Are you saying other testing extensions have this feature? Which extensions? Or are you saying other extensions also lack this feature? In that case, I don't see what we can do in the extension. If there's a feature missing from vscode itself, you need to make a feature request on vscode.
