We're currently moving over to the Grafana Cloud platform with logs via promtail working great. At this point we're testing out Grafana Agent Flow to deliver metrics to our cloud instance, which we can see delivered with the metric and instance (hostname) labels. I'd like to add some EC2 metadata (instance id, name, etc) to our metrics, however this doesn't appear to be possible. Support has advised us there is no way to connect data from the discovery.ec2 component to the promethus.scrape compnent.
Outside of combining data from the components, is there a way to add EC2 metadata such as instance_id to our metrics via Grafana Agent Flow?
Are we able to do this with the agent in static mode?
