Suggestion: the "--host 0.0.0.0" setting to allow remote requests was very hard to find. I recommend documenting what 0.0.0.0 does in several places, including the getting started doc's.
Also telling people they can use "sudo tcpdump port 5000" to see if traffic is hitting the server is good to tell people too.
