hmmm I'd rather fix the timeout issue than remove the check altogether... thoughts? |

The azure SDK being used is EOL as well, may be unrelated but just a thought? |

The existing test of the connection to Azure Blog Storage cases timeouts 95% of the time. I do not think it is necessary.
