Book length

What would you like Grimmory to do?

I'd like to have some way of book length in my library. PDF books do have pages, epubs are reflowable, so they don't have real page count, but I we can calculate number of words and guesstimate a number of pages. Calibre has custom columns, but it doesn't like my library size.

What problem does this solve for you?

Sorting the library by book length, also would love to add this to magic filters

I see in grimmory sources in EpubMetadataExtractor
that it's one of calibre:pages, pagecount, schema:pagecount, media:pagecount, booklore:page_count

does that mean I can have schema:pagecount in epub as

<meta property="schema:pagecount">432</meta>

and page count will get imported?

Also, epub discussion says schema:numberOfPages is suggested, I'd be happy to add this field to the sources too.

@imnotjames ok, so it worked well when I had calibre:pages set in the epub metadata. That means this discussion doesn't make sense as it's already in.
