Could you give me some clarification here?
Under the current approach, the bar is filled from left to right with the percentage. Should it be from right to left for a negative value? Is that the expected outcome?

@guibranco Sorry for the delay. Kindly find an example below. For below numbers in excel, I get below conditional formatting.

I would like to get this effect for markdown table, with each cell as proxy bar from your lib

@guibranco excel achieves this, based on entire value of data selected (for ex, if I selected just 100 to 0 in above cells, the bar would have been different)..

However, each proxy bar's is independent, unaware of any data outside, so to achieve similar effect, we should be able to set the center (or origin or start) of progress from middle or from left.

A. If origin set as middle, and negative value given, the progress emanates from middle to left..
B. If origin set as middle, and positive value given, the progress emanates from middle to right..
C. If origin set as left, and negative value given, it can be NA or absolute (negative negated)
D. If origin set as left, and positive value given, current behavior
E. If origin set as right, and negative or positive value given, NA or can also be absolute, negating sign, but progress from right to left

I request A and B. Others, can be, as you see fit.
