Bonnie will drop a line to Julien mentioning that we need to have two more NCs to interview about their agenda making. We need ones that are fully functioning. Mario is the person at empower (last time we spoke) who is working with NCs and the ENS (early notification system).

I was hoping to get a reference to two NCs that you think have a lot of people in their Agenda process and would be willing to talk to us about it. We have already talked to Patti from Downtown and Mario from empowerment

Created flows of the agenda creation process for Los Feliz & Toluca Lake NCs. Flows are based on information gathered during interviews with each NC.

Analyzed agenda creation process from NCs that were interviewed and created an agenda creation flow model.

Emailed previously interviewed NCs to request a follow-up interview regarding the model of the agenda creation process we created. I will update the thread once I hear back.

Hi Julien and Gibson,

On behalf of Hack for LA's Engage Project, thank you so much for the past referrals to the NCs leaders.

We have classified the development status of NCs for our project in into the following categories:

• Mature: Could keep running the agenda creation and dissemination process the way it is indefinitely. And while being able to make use of any technology we develop, it will be more icing on the cake than necessity.
• Stable: The agenda creation and dissemination process takes some serious time away from other higher priorities and contributes to burnout, but it's otherwise working.
• Immature: The NC has uneven delivery and management of the creation and dissemination process, but not needing to be managed
• Managed: Being managed by Empowerment
• Manager: Someone from EmpowerLA who has to manage the agenda process for the NC.

So far the Engage team has been able to talk to the following people:

• Mario, Empowerment (manager)
• Patricia Berman, Downtown LA (mature)
• John Deutsch, Los Feliz (mature)
• Katherine Hatton, Greater Toluca Lake (mature)
• Eric McAlly, Westlake South (managed)

The following person never responded

• Mary Paterson, Canoga Park

We are now looking for some NCs that are either Immature or Stable in their agenda creation and dissemination process.
