COVID-19 Tracker

This project is a hands-on example of working with jsoup, a Java library for working with real-world HTML. It scrapes data from a reliable source to track COVID-19 statistics.

Getting Started

Prerequisites

  • Java Development Kit (JDK)
  • jsoup library (version 1.13.1)

Installation

  1. Download the jsoup library here.
  2. Include the jsoup library in your project.

Data Source

The COVID-19 statistics are scraped from Worldometer.

Usage

  1. Clone the repository
  2. Open the project in your preferred IDE.
  3. Add the jsoup 1.13.1 jar to your project's build path.
  4. Run the application to fetch and display the latest COVID-19 statistics.
  5. The jsoup version used in this project is 1.13.1. You can download it from this link.
