Hi @hayk314 --- this is a really useful little bit of code for me in managing proceedings for my academic community.
I wonder if you have thought about packaging it up for pypi so that it could be imported?
If it's not something you're interested in, would you mind if I took it on as a project?
I would probably start from the pull requested version with some fixes: #1
Obviously you would retain copyright over code you have written and still be MIT licensed but I would probably host on my fork.
