This behaviour is really helpful. What I'm not sure about is, if that should be part of the Helix core or would better be accomplished by a plugin as soon as the plugin system is ready. Plus, it only really works good in Markdown because the language has no simple comment token at all, but uses HTML comment tokens which are really bad to deal with. And by adding these tokens its not possible anymore to comment a single line by hitting |

I've been really enjoying having markdown lists and blockquotes automatically continue with this config:
We can also extend this to other languages that have lists. Such as typst, asciidoc, etc.
Should this be the default? I decided to open this discussion instead of a PR to see what people think in general. This is a great usability improvement, at least for me and some other people. I would love to see this as a default. My only concern is that it says "comment tokens" despite these not actually being comments. Thoughts?
