I am using the Appimage version of Raven and I noticed that articles don't get marked Read as you scroll nor is there an option to like "Mark above articles as read" or "Mark below articles as read". Only way I can mark an article as read is right clicking it and set to "Mark as read".

Now this wouldn't be a problem if a person has a handful of articles but for avid RSS users like me who has hundreds to thousands of new feeds to read daily, I have to mark them one by one to remove it from Unread when using Raven. This isn't very practical as I also sync using FreshRSS so articles that aren't marked Read will appear on my phone when I read on the go so I would like to suggest the following options for consideration from the dev.

  1. Automatically mark articles as read as you scroll. This is similar to Lire (from iOS and macOS), Feedme (from Android)
  2. Manually set articles above or below any certain feed as "Read". This is similar to Feeder (from Android)

My personal preference is 1. as it helps to remove a lot of uninterested articles just by scrolling down the feeds which is really helpful.

Please do consider and make this an option as if this is done, then I can finally sync my desktop and mobile RSS feeds finally.

Thank you
