Downloaded the code but there is no app_data\packages\SicialConnectedMvc-1.zip or /website/web.config file.

I have added the missing package. It was being held back by a .gitignore rule.

With regards to the web.config - just use the one that comes with your Sitecore installation (the MVC variant).
