You should see buttons "Previous" / "Next" & amount of issues in query, but all this disappears, when Default Custom Query plugin is activated for project.
I performed tests with latest Redmine 4.1.1 and Default Custom Query the only plugin installed, but the same behavior when using Redmine 4.0.7.

Projects where DCQ is activated as a module, won't show the Next/Previous buttons in the single ticket page.
That's a pitty since I need that feature to go through the recent tickets in our monthly team meeting.
