Allow to enable/disable by a simple clic on the menubar icon like with KeepingYouAwake for exemple.

Thanks @popod, this is a great idea. And thank you for passing along KeepingYouAwake as an example. That will help me implement it.

I can't guarantee this will be in the next release, but I want this feature too, so I will work on it ASAP.

#20 adds the ability to right-click on the icon to enable/disable filtering. I'll add the ability to swap that to the left-click as an option next.
