setup NK2Tray as Startup
When these things are met you can add it to the autostart by following these steps:
-
Press the Windows logo key + R, and then copy and paste
shell:startup
into the text field and then select OK. This opens the Startup folder in File Explorer. -
Press Ctrl + N to open another File Explorer window, and use it to go to where you have NK2Tray saved. Right-click on NK2Tray and select Create shortcut. Be sure to have writing rights in this folder so NK2Tray can save its settings.
-
Select the shortcut and press Ctrl + X.
-
Select the other File Explorer window that you have open and press Ctrl + V. This moves the shortcut into the Startup folder.
NK2Tray will now launch when you start your computer, even if you move the original file somewhere else or rename it, as long as the shortcut is in the Startup folder.
