Thanks for bringing it up. I always wanted to check this out, since I was somewhat sure it will not work due to the way the drawing is done. Hopefully, I find some time to revisit the Go text drawing or an alternative.

I've solved it. Just change the font.

so far,I use a not-so-trival way to catpture terminal with Chinese / emoji as image file.
use https://github.com/tsl0922/ttyd select unicode font, and take a browser screenshot for that page.

or easier way to use html format:
