Are you using "Raspberry Pi OS (Legacy, 32-bit) A port of Debian Bullseye with security updates and desktop environment"?

I get the same error on a raspberry pi 3 32 bit standard bookworm, with and without X started:
output.txt

Previous steps of the manual worked flawlessly.

cat /etc/os-release says PRETTY_NAME="Raspbian GNU/Linux 12 (bookworm)" ...
uname -a: Linux player 6.6.28+rpt-rpi-v7 #1 SMP Raspbian 1:6.6.28-1+rpt1 (2024-04-22) armv7l GNU/Linux

Maybe the issue is caused by the deprecation->deletion of AVStream->codec in ffmpeg 4->5?
