Can we manually setup with zip files like the old days?

so i haven't modded this game in a LONG time and was looking to get back into it again with linux and my new gpu. but this new launcher style is not working so well on linux and more specifically portable mode,it keeps freezing on downloading "totk optmizer patch" and is making folders in my home directory despite me running ryujinx in portable mode on another drive. i just want to download the zips of what i want to install into the game like i use to.
