get completion for a different buffer

Hi there and thank you for this amazing plugin!

Is is possible to get completion results from a different (hidden) buffer, depending on the context?

For context: I have a document with embedded languages (https://quarto.org/, like markdown with executable code chunks). From this I separate out the embedded code chunks into their own buffer using treesitter, so that lsp clients can attach, and now I want to redirect the completion to the the original document (quarto-dev/quarto-nvim#2).
