We got a lot of questions along the lines of "What's the difference between pyROOT and uproot", or "Why uproot if we have pyROOT" etc.

Currently we don't mention pyROOT explicitly, so maybe this would make a nice callout box

I'm not sure if it's still true, but it used to be that this tutorial would come immediately after several PyROOT tutorials, so the distinction would come from context. But if this is a stand-alone thing, then having that would be useful.

This could help:

Right, we flipped the schedule this time because of mentor availability.

Thanks for the picture, it's actually already included in the lesson :)

I think we could just add a callout box below that specifically addresses this question.

Also would you be comfortable with breaking this down a bit along the lines: "Use PyROOT if you like the ROOT framework but want to use it with python syntax instead of C++. Use uproot, if you come from the python world and want a fast and easy way to read ROOT files, but do not need any more functionality provided by ROOT".?

Yes, that's a good break down, but avoid the word "like" (emotional preference). Maybe "when you need to use..."? Also, "when" is less pejorative than "if".
