Sorry, i want to explain the wrong description for my original #13 issue. When i was created that issue, tijolo not support Chinese Character as file name and content which use UTF-8 multi-byte encoding(not GB2312), But, it support quite well for now. (as following screenshot)
But, tijolo indeed not support GB18030 (the superset of GB2312) yet, file which name include GB18030 chracter can't be opened by tijolo, check following screenshot.

Currently only UTF-8 files are supported. Would be nice to be able to open and save files in different encodings.
