Steps

1. Go to https://hyperspace.sh
2. Click Sign in with Google
3. Complete Google OAuth
4. Redirected back with error in URL

Error

error=server_error, error_code=unexpected_failure, error_description=Database error saving new user

Root Cause

Supabase backend fails saving new users. OAuth completes on Google side but callback returns server error. Confirmed via Playwright automation - not browser-specific.

Impact

New users cannot sign in or claim pods at hyperspace.sh.
