While the Portuguese patterns from this repository correctly hyphenates "económico" as "eco-nó-mi-co", Brazilian Portuguese spells this word as "econômico" -- and the patterns then fail here, as "1nô" is not present.
N.B. Not being a specialist, I don't know if there are other stubble differences between standard/canonical Portuguese from Portugal ("pt") and Portuguese from Brazil ("pt-BR"). -- So I can't say whether just adding "1nô" would be a correct fix.
Advice from knowledgeable speakers would be welcome, and hints on how to fix the patterns. (Would it require a dedicated pattern file with the augmented definitions?)
