Having a "Pay now" button would be ideal, when clicking it the logged in user would be taken to the associated terminal and enter their payment details.

Once this is done, the order would be marked as "paid" and follow the standard payment process.

This should only be possible if omnipay is configured. If so, maybe the "Pay now" button should be a dropdown that allows the user to select a preferred payment method?
