Does chromebook support inav configurator?

I installed inav configurator 8.0.1 on my Chromebook
It wasn't on the app store, so I downloaded the file from GitHub and installed it
The automatic installation was smooth
After running it
"No configuration received within 10 seconds, communication failed" Something seems to be not connecting
I'm a Windows user, so I don't know
Do I need to install something like a vcp driver on Linux?
For reference, the board is f722 and I'm using it with Windows 10 inav 8.0.
