Hi,

Looks like ExampleService.echoString is expected to return JSON but it doesn't. Can you help me out ?

Thanks for logging this, when I looked at this project again recently I realised I couldn't get automatic JSON serialisation working under Mono. I really need to improve this repo! Especially the ranty documentation.

I keep meaning to ask on the Mono mailing list or on IRC; I THINK it's not actually supported natively but I couldn't find someone who could answer definitively when I tried to find it out.

Getting it working under .NET is easy of course and appears it's working for some folks with Mono but I think that's because they are actually running Mono on Windows (and so have the appropriate MS libraries that handle it) but I'm not certain.
