Cannot reproduce PDF file with pandoc #9

I git clone https://github.com/iamjakewarner/jdf, and run the command pandoc ./jdf-starter.Rmd -o pandoc.pdf, but the resulted PDF (attached) does no have the same formatting as the included PDF in the repo.
