No network connection on Ubuntu-based distros (openssl version 3.0.2) #393

It appears that the OCAT appimage cannot connect to the Internet because openssl 1.0 and/or openssl1.1 are not in the repositories. My current version on mint is 3.0.2, while on arcolinux I managed to install 1.0 and 1.1 and that solved the problem, but I can't find these versions in the ubuntu/mint repositories...

Please download and manually compile and install openssl 1.1.1, there are many guides on the internet.

i guess i have the same issue on debian 12. it cannot download opencore. is this the same thing?

looks like this thread has a workaround for this issue:
https://stackoverflow.com/questions/71997447/qt-missing-openssl-3-x-support-on-ubuntu-22-04

installing the already compiled official package fixes the issue on ubuntu 22.04 and on debian 12 too.
