The standard snap package seems to have random issues depending on the distro, it is probably permissions missing for the snap that i have been unable to figure out, the current work around is to use the classic snap package as it is less strict and less issues.

See issues #230 for issues when using modules that execute native commands, using classic package should enable those

Known issues:

  • resize may not work for first when only one client
  • first loaded client may be stuck open and unable to be closed when new windows open and not appear on tab strip
  • dialogs may cause the client to freeze
  • Incorrect text, this can be fixed by clearing font cache
sudo rm /var/cache/fontconfig/*
rm ~/.cache/fontconfig/*
fc-cache -r
