Responsive layout led to confusing Cookbook intro page #160

I was diving into Twine for the first time, and was trying to access the Cookbook (https://twinery.org/cookbook/) However, I didn't have the window maximized, so the responsive design meant that the Table of Contents on the left was replaced by a hamburger menu button in the upper left. Since the coffee hadn't kicked in, I assumed the hamburger menu pointed back to the main Twinery page, so didn't even bother clicking on it, but instead confirmed that I don't have Python installed on my work computer, and ended up downloading the ePub and then having a coworker point out that it was there all along.

Could someone perhaps tweak the responsive UI a bit so it's less confusing? I'm not quite sure what to suggest, though at the very least some text on the main landing page (perhaps only visible at that width) to save other people the embarrassment I experienced this morning?
