Adding Unit Tests

As always, it is great if the web app works, but better if we have tests to verify the basic functionality. As a couple suggestions

• We probably don't need to test the google authentication
• We probably should test some of the endpoints/functions if we aren't using the MVC model
• Nice to have a quick audit for accessibility.
