¿? dots don't align to the bottom stroke of their bases

no I think it happened because the dots are periods and changing the spacing on referenced glyphs in fontforge can cause this

Hm I didn't realize, but I got the variable version 3.0 trough Indestructible Type official website. While it seems like here on Github there is a 4.0 version. Maybe it was already fixed in that version?

This issue wasn't closed so it's still in the current version. A patch release will be needed most likely.
