Especially for remote, long term, solar powered deployment the basic monitoring information should be tracked over time. Some use cases:

review when the Pi turned on/off/why
review temperature changes over time
review disk usage over time
review state of system clock over time
review max runtime in a day (could indicate insufficient battery capacity)
