Do something about the intrusive new tweet button

On a phone with Firefox mobile, screen real estate is at a premium. That big, honking floating new tweet button really gets in the way! Can it be cut down to size, a lot smaller?

Oh, I see that changing the font size in Twitter settings also changes that icon size... counter-intuitively in my mind: with larger text, the larger icon covers-up even more!... So still need to cut the icon down to much smaller size.

...and look how much screen real estate is wasted above & below the main timeline! Can't they be shortened?
