Notes for next iteration of editing workflow.

  • entity edit success redirects to editgroup view, not to entity view
  • "redirect to page" behavior when logging in (so you end up on the page you wanted to access, eg the edit entity page)
  • editgroup "diff" view
  • allow prefixed version of identifiers everywhere (eg, release_ofaixvk5wfdldgtgb6jimeacxu in addition to ofaixvk5wfdldgtgb6jimeacxu)
  • better UX for adding links between entities: "quick search"; display/summarize entity
  • "basic" review bot to catch most common issues upon submission
  • fix "updating creation edit results in update edit, not create edit" bug (in web interface?)
  • some workflow for requesting bot updates (eg, "update from ORCID", "update from Crossref")? three-way TOML merge interface?
  • actual user testing of edit workflow
  • compare against other editable systems: openlibrary, musicbrainz,
