The automatic extraction of metadata from software source code will happen in two cases:

via the GitHub integration
via the depositing of already SWH-regsitered software

In both cases, the automatic metadata extraction servces to prepopulate the deposit form and possibly automatically publish the record.

In both cases metadata from Codemeta or CFF will be supported as the source of the metadata being imported.
