can we run sendUri instead of send-document

We have tested the proxy tool, we see send-Document is getting submitted on the device and job is getting completed but printout is not coming(Proxy is not submitting the document to the printer). Could you please help why device is not able to pull the document? Instead of send-document can we do send-Uri?

How can we enable debug logs to triage further?

Using more "-v" options will increase the verbosity of the logging. Keep in mind that in this case the device isn't pulling the document, ippproxy is, and it then "pushes" the document(s) to the local device/queue.

Perhaps if you provided the commands you have tried so far and the logging that ippproxy has reported (goes to the standard error)?

When we have capture the wireshark logs,as part of fetch-document,document is being sent to the proxy but job is being fetched by the send-document but document data is not getting fetched from proxy.

When we tried to send the document via ipptool directly on the device, device is able to pull the document.

Why is proxy not able to pull the content from the server and push it to the device?

Respectfully, I cannot help you if I do not know how things are configured or what ippproxy is reporting.

If you mean you are using ipptool to send a Send-URI request directly to the printer and that is working, then it is just a function of that printer supporting the Send-URI operation and the URI you want to print. The ippproxy program DOES NOT SUPPORT print-by-reference, and so it CANNOT relay a print job submitted to ippserver using the Send-URI operation.

Understood that ippproxy doesn't support print by reference. My above query is not related to send-uri ,it is about send-document.

Since ippproxy doesn't support print by reference, as per spec we have started using Send-Document, but we see from ippproxy ,send-Document is getting submitted on the local device but file is not being sent to the device as part of send-document request
