Feature Request Description

GPTheme works well, but it has long occupied the upper right corner of the ChatGPT page and conflicts with other plugins, such as the Conversation Timeline, as shown in the figure.

To this end, I have previously forked this project and achieved a general effect through vibe coding. In the new effect, the floating button is removed, and the GPTheme is controlled through the browser extension button pop-up window. Of course, the settings panel is still displayed on the page.

The code for vibe coding is barely usable, but I can't guarantee the code quality, so I don't dare to submit the code to this project (nor do I know how to submit it). I only use this result as an introduction, hoping that the main creative team will consider this feature.

Please allow the user to choose the entrance of the GPTheme, to use the floating button in the page or the browser extension button pop-up window.

Hey there @iblueer. Lol, I've literally been waiting all this time for someone to report a conflict with another extension on the same platform.

Yeah, I'm totally aware of this, and honestly, the current FAB positioning is a bit awkwarw. It might not work for everyone, and I get that some people would prefer it somewhere else. Not to mention it clashing with other UI elements, or extensions like the Conversation Timeline you showed.

I definitely plan to improve this, but probably not exactly the way you suggested in the issue. It should also be mobile-friendly. Having to open the extension pop-up (from the browser toolbar) for settings just isn't as convenient or quick on mobiles as having a direct element on the page. Instead, I'm thinking of adding custom positioning by letting you just drag the FAB anywhere you want on the screen. That should give everyone the flexibility to place it where it works best for them
