Dear ITZG team,
I'm looking for a way to connect to bedrock server over LAN from Nintendo Switch.
From Windows 11 client it works flawlessly, other users report successful connection from PS5.
There was opinion that Nintendo doesn't support cross platform lan games.
But recently I could connect to Nintendo MC world from Win client and vice versa.
I have Nintendo online subscription and Microsoft accounts set up.
The key to achieving connection was adding both players as friends.
That give me idea that, if Bedrock server will broadcast some XUID that can be added to friends it should show up in friends Tab.
Quick packet capture shows that clients broadcast some hash over udp port 7551 and send uni-cast reply to the broadcaster upon retrieval

Do you think it would be possible to set it up.
I understand that it is question to mojang, just wanted to ask.

That aspect has nothing to do with running in docker. Please submit a feature request with Mojang for the "Bedrock Dedicated Server" product.

hey @Taxelas - there's a few options out there, but check out the Nintendo-Minecraft-DNS repo - this is what I use to connect over switch/XBOne and found it the quickest/easiest to get going 👍
