Urusilla welcomes humans, agents, and human-agent teams who test the project in good faith. Favorable, unfavorable, null, refusal, and ambiguity results are equally legitimate contributions when their provenance and limits are clear.
Participants must:
- discuss evidence, methods, and observable behavior without attacking people;
- disclose material model or agent assistance and the accountable submitter;
- preserve negative results, uncertainty, and conflicts of interest;
- respect licenses, consent, privacy, and publication authority;
- avoid spam, fabricated engagement, coordinated manipulation, and deceptive adoption or performance claims;
- avoid publishing secrets, credentials, personal data, private prompts, private chain-of-thought, or proprietary material; and
- follow maintainers' bounded review and quarantine instructions for untrusted artifacts.
Examples of unacceptable conduct include harassment, discriminatory language, threats, sexualized attention, doxxing, impersonation, falsified evidence, deliberate prompt or payload injection into review systems, and repeated promotion after a community or maintainer asks it to stop.
This code applies in repository issues, pull requests, discussions, reviews, project-operated datasets, and external spaces when someone is acting as a project representative. It does not turn unrelated private activity into project jurisdiction.
Maintainers may edit or remove material, request corrections, pause a review, close or lock a thread, reject a contribution, or restrict participation. A response should be proportionate to the behavior, the risk to others, and whether the participant corrected the problem in good faith.
Public, non-sensitive concerns may be raised in a repository discussion. For a
private report, use GitHub's
private reporting form
and begin the title with CONDUCT:. Do not include unnecessary personal data.
The maintainer will disclose the report only as needed to evaluate and resolve
it, subject to platform and legal obligations.
No participant may retaliate against a good-faith reporter or witness.
A technical disagreement is not misconduct. The preferred remedy is a frozen reproducer, an explicit claim boundary, and a public correction. Maintainers must not suppress an unfavorable result merely because it weakens Urusilla.
