Create shelves/collections based on categories for Kobo

Calibre has the option to create collections/shelves on a kobo based on a column, often used with tags. So calibre would create collections like 'scifi', 'fantasy', 'romance', 'historical' etc. and put all books with those tags in the collection.
It would be amazing if c-w could create collections/shelves based on categories for example (which derive from tags if I am not mistaken)
Right now I have to plug my kobo in for calibre to create those collections which then syncs via kobo to c-w.
