P0 - make gemini monitoring dump reliable

currently gemini.exp duplicates lines and does not reflect the current status of the console, not to mention coding issues:

Make it reflect the console ful, as it is now. transition to other formats like html, to maintain coding/colors is ok but not essential

if needed, moving away from .exp approach is ok. aim for sth that works in windows and/or vs code
