@jseparovic
Hi Jason,
Great API you have created!

I just tried it and indeed it returns something even now during non-trading hours. But before I dive completely into this, I'd like to know a little more about the limitations, features (supported vs not) and what are the recent developments and maintenance status etc. In particular, perhaps some more basic examples, on:

  1. How to check market data for futures vs. spot prices (of e.g. EURUSD)?
  2. How to get a live feed on market depth for a particular instrument?
  3. What are the performance differences between websocket (ws: and http)?
  4. ...or anything else that may be useful/good to know.

Also, what are the SierraChart supported DTC's? I've noticed that the DTC's coming with SC installation, is different from what they suggest you to download from their support site. Do you have any enlightening comments on that?

Thanks in advance.

Hi @eabase

I'm not maintaining this at all. And currently don't have an active Sierra Chart account so I'm not able to provide any help at this time. Just thought I'd post my code in case anyone else wanted to run with it.

Sorry about that.

Cheers,

Jason

Hi,

@jseparovic
Big thanks for your sharing anyway that's hugely helpful.

@eabase
I see we are following the same path simultaneously :) Queeq/pydtc and then jseparovic/python-ws-dtc-client.
I am also on Sierra Chart trying to figure how this work and integrate it with my Python apps. If you want you can contact me by email so we can maybe share stuff.

I'm also interested. Can you send me a reply?
