Hello there. Why test on Linux when the issue is on Windows? In answer to your question, everything is up to date. Thanks

What happens if you save the ODS locally instead of on onedrive?
What happens with CSVs?
Are win10 and excel completely updated?

Others will test on win. I only have linux here. I test on it to narrow down varibles. Now we know it might be win only.
|
Yes, confirmed that can be reproduced. |
Very interesting that this doesnt happen on linux. Its a standard format so you wouldn't assume line ending differences to matter |
Also occurs on Mac |
Saving this file once with libreoffice fixes the issues. |
@RensDofferhoff change the .ods as .zip and we will find some meta info in the files😉 like document version and generator. |
ooh great tip! excel 2016 |
So this is a "wont fix" probably since ODS support in Excel 2016 was fairly buggy? I know from my own experience. And msiX installed jasp has the same problem? |
I will do some more tests |
Office 2016 is still supported.... |
Still reproducible with 0.19.2 beta, file should show no missings after import, see: |

Bug Description
I have a very simple Open Document Spreadsheet (.ods) file that I want to analyse. I read in "The Guide For Students" that JASP is able to open this type of file, but when when viewed in JASP the data is not as expected - there are gaps in the rows. Maybe this because the file has two worksheets? I would

Expected Behaviour
I expected JASP to open the .ods file and present me with data correctly presented. I even expected to be able to view data from multiple sheets.
